Speaking of Army Open House, did anyone notice the signallers who were trying to comms back to Brunei? Yes, I was on the Brunei side manning comms, but it was a classic case of Murphy's Law. Despite the numerous successful trials and tests before the actual day, comms was still not successfully established. In fact the only thing we could do was to send text messages, it's like the signal set's version of SMS except that it's free! And not to mention, difficult to use becase of the lack of a word completer.
Anyway, what's this buaya week thing abt? Everytime i see or hear the word buaya, it just triggers memories of my mountain climbing in Brunei for me..lol
