Hey ppl~ it's been awhile since i last blogged. heh i guess all the recruit dudes shud have pop-ed by now. You guys are privates now!! haha Anyway, a little update on myself. With reference to my last msg, which was like ages ago, 4SIR is indeed in a very ulu part of Lim Chu Kang, even the road that it's along is called OLD Lim Chu Kang Rd, so go figure how ulu it can get. The camp compound is small and old, and is probably one of the older camps around, which means that there are some "unauthorised residents" on it, but i shan't dwell too much on that. Anyway, I happen to be in Support Company which is relatively slacker now than the rifle companies since we dun have to bash thru thick vegetation on a regular basis YET. Although, the bad thing is that my OC happens to be some commando captain who's like rippling with muscles all over and bears an uncanny resemblance to that chief villain in street fighter, bison or is it vega. He expects everyone in his company to be as fit as him or get gold for ippt or not it's remedial training. So ya, the past 3 weeks resembled something like the ptp phase in bmt. Anyway, I'll be posted out on 11th June cos I've gotten an overseas posting to either brunei or taiwan. That means I'll be away from Singapore for 6mths at least before I'll be allowed to come back for a short visit, so I won't be seeing u ppl in a VERY long time.
Army life aside, I got accepted into NUS law! Haha, but it's damn crap cos i didn't receive anything in the mail and the admissions personnel only called to inform me 2 days after the deadline for the acceptance and she asked if I'm going to accept the offer and i declined it cos I've decided business is more for me. And one last piece of news, I finally got called up for an interview for the GIC scholarship after 3 LONG months! Let's just hope they'll buy my crap in the interview this tues and give me my dream scholarship..lol Many multiple distinction applicants have got rejected already, so i can't help but feel a little apprehensive. Oh well, I'll just keep my fingers crossed and see how things go. Wish me luck ppl!
